The 2022 Florida Boating Statutes state: a person born after January 1, 1988, may not operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or greater unless such a person has in her possession aboard the vessel photographic issued by a state and a Florida Boating Safety Identification card issued by the FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission).
